Jill Caugherty, Author

Jill Caugherty is the award-winning author of the historical novels, Waltz in Swing Time and The View from Half Dome. Her contemporary debut, The Throwaway Women, will be published in February 2027. Her short fiction has been published in 805Lit, Oyster River Pages, The Magazine of History and Fiction, and The Prospectus Blog.

A Stanford University graduate, Jill is a former senior product manager who is thrilled to write full-time. A member of both the Women’s Fiction Writers’ Association and the North Carolina Writers’ Network, she lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with her husband and daughter. When she’s not writing, she enjoys traveling, reading, learning French, and entertaining her lovable but demanding cat, Jax.
